| Shaws Belfast Sinks Belfast sinks originally had what is known as a Weir overflow built into the sink. Belfast sinks come in the traditional 24" size the metric size of 595mm and now this extra large 36" size. All ceramic Belfast sinks can vary in size by up to 2% so none of these sizes are totally accurate. This is due to the fact that they are hand made and the kiln process can also vary the size. |

Belfast sinks variations in style known as The London sink or French Farmhouse sink is similar to Belfast sinks but have no no weir overflow. They have been adapted from the original Belfast sinks styles to have a 90mm basket strainer waste or they can be fitted with a waste disposal unit. They come in metric 595mm and 760mm wide or traditional 24", 30" and 36" wide. |
