Ceramic sinks are available to suit three housing methods - farmhouse, inset or undermounted.
Ceramic Belfast Sinks are Victorian in design, the classic style of these ceramic sinks makes them suitable for any traditional kitchen. Since they fit beneath the worktop, they can only be used with granite, solid surface or wooden worktops. Because the flat front face of the sink is on show and takes up vertical space, you will also require a short height cabinet below. The tap is mounted into the worktop.
Inset Ceramic Sinks the most versatile option is an inset model which has a lip that fits on top of the worktop, providing a neat, tidy finish. The tap is fitted on top of the sink. This may be the best choice for those who prefer laminate kitchen worktops.
Undermounted Ceramic Sinks have an appeal of their very own. The sinks are mounted to the underside of the kitchen worktop and the worktop is cut to fit. Used with granite, solid surface or wooden worktops, the effect is distinctive and stunning. The tap is fitted into the worktop, behind the sink.
Both the Berkshire and Hampshire ceramic sinks bowls are extremely flexible as they can be inset or undermounted, and can be used in combination or individually, depending on the space available.
